DINING WITH US &
RESERVATION POLICY

Dining with us

Located in the rural community of Lafleche in south-central Saskatchewan, our small (there are only 4 of us!) dedicated team at Trigo Food + Drink is passionate about food and cuisines from all parts of the globe. We care deeply about providing unique and memorable dining experiences.

We focus on providing high-quality, homemade dishes, using fresh local products as well as the best available ingredients from around the world. Throughout our travels, we have experienced many different types of cuisines and are always eager to learn as much as possible about the dishes we create, including the history, cooking methods, and regional differences. Once we decide on a dish, we practice, taste-test, make changes when necessary, practice some more, and taste again, again, and again. 

 

All of our menus are multi-coursed, usually between 4 and 7 courses. Our Tasting Menus generally take anywhere between 2 1/2 and 3 1/2 hours to enjoy, depending on the size of your party.  As a result, we encourage you to pace yourself. There is no rushing. Relax, enjoy, unwind.

We have an extensive Wine, Spirit, and Cocktail Menu, including numerous non-alcoholic drinks. Each table is furnished with a large Tablet, where you can view and browse our Menus and Tasting Notes at your leisure. Our Menus and Tasting Notes are also available on a QR Code, which you can view on your smart device. Click here to view our most recent menus.

Reservation Policy

We are a small restaurant, with generally only 6-7 tables available per Friday and Saturday evening.

Advance Reservations are required and are easily booked online through:

  • Our website (trigo.restaurant), by clicking the “Reserve” button on the top of one of our pages;

  • Facebook Page (trigorestaurant), by clicking here and clicking the “Start Order” button, or

  • Google Listing (Google Trigo Food + Drink) and click the “Reserve a Table” button.

Reservations can also be made by telephone (306-472-3663 or 306-472-7500).

Reservation Commitment

Once you've secured your reservation, rest assured that your table is exclusively reserved for the entirety of your evening. We never double-book tables to ensure you have a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience.

Confirmation and Timing

To keep you informed and ensure a seamless experience, we'll send confirmation notices via text message immediately upon reservation. Additionally, you can expect a second follow-up confirmation approximately 4-5 days prior to your reserved date.

Timely Arrivals

In consideration of fellow diners and to provide exceptional guest service, we kindly request that you arrive at the restaurant promptly at your reservation time. This allows us to maintain a smooth and enjoyable dining atmosphere for everyone.

Special Dietary Needs

We understand that dietary preferences and allergies vary, and we're committed to accommodating your specific requirements. To ensure we can provide you with the best possible dining experience, please notify us of any allergies or menu substitutions well in advance of your reservation date.

Service Gratuity

For parties of 8 or more, an 18% gratuity will automatically be applied to ensure our dedicated staff are recognized for their exceptional service. Thank you for choosing to dine with us.
